Lexmark X500N Scanning
Hi,
new to these forums, so please forgive me if scanners are not discussed. I've been searching the web for a quite a while and have had no luck.
We've got a Lexmark X500N in our office and have connected it to the network. We can print without any issues, but scanning is not.
I've tried to set it up to use SMTP to send the scans via email but I usually end up with a server connection issue of net connection issue. The same applies to using FTP. I've phoned the Lexmark tech support who said the problem was related to our network settings but were unable to elaborate as to what could be causing this. We don't have any blocks on SMTP or FTP on our network.
Any clues?
