I am trying to get an old IBM SurePOS 500 'point of sale' system running for a retail store. It has an IBM SureMark 4610 TF6 receipt printer attached. It all seems to work okay, except when a receipt prints, the header is preceded by a string of about 3 lines of 'garbage' characters.
Anyone know what could be causing this and how to stop it?
