Exclamation HP C3150 All in one Driver for VIsta

Hey, so I got this printer and I have vista so I needed to get a driver for it from the HP website, so I got it and it told me to turn off printer and unplug it while its installing the driver, then it tells you to plug it in to complete it.

So I plug it in and then a thing pops up that asks me if I want to install the driver, so i say yes. And then its doing its little installing thing down there in the task bar, and then I get this thing.

So Ive tried both, and either one I pick they both lead to it not working.

So any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like what you did was correct. Except for running Vista.
Try deleting the driver and downloading it again.
Make sure you are downloading the 64bit drivers if you are running Vista 64bit and the first one listed if not the 64bit.

Redcow was suggesting you uninstall the printer driver...but I'm pretty sure it didn't even get installed -- looks like the install wizard canceled out on you before it finished...that screen shot is giving an "error" --- not a good sign .

We've heard some complaints about printer incompatibilities with Vista ... so be aware that you might have a printer model that will not work well or at all with Vista. ..

You can try again: Just open up your Control Panel, Printers & Faxes, and see if the printer name (HP Photosmart C3100 series) is there in the list of printers. If the name is there, click on that printer name and press Delete to remove the printer...
Then try downloading and installing the driver again ... and yes, make sure you choose the 32-bit version..

Load the drivers! Make sure the printer is not connected to the PC.
At some point the screen will tell you to connect the printer.
