Red face HP Laserjet 4200 Constant 41.03 Error

This unit has 77,000 pages on it. The error log is 85% 41.03 error. Pickup\Sep rollers have been replaced. It never fails when i'm there. And the strange thing is this machine only has 2 trays. I'm leaning toward a software issue. Any Ideas, or Similar problems. Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you tried to replace the Paper feed assembly? I used to get this all the time when I serviced HP LaserJet 4000 series printers. I know they are different models. Your error sounds familiar.

    Default 4200 jams

You have a media error. Wrong tray setting, or a bad paper PCA.
Pull out the tray, and look for debris in the right side of tray, and tray slot.

    Default same boat

I have a 4000 with 41.3. I changed out the feed assembly, front assembly formater board , paper sensor, used multiple trays, no luck, I cant think of what might be causing this

Did you try the DC Controller?

41.3 is a paper size error, what paper size does your configuration page tell you that you have?
I'll have to go along with MichaelTech, the paper size detection could be the cause of the problem.
