My printer won't use the Magenta ink cartridge even though it is full. I know that the printer is reading the cartridge because it tells me that it is full but when I try to print any documents or pictures that use any reds in it, it leaves the red out. Purple is just blue, orange is just yellow, etc. What should I do?

Pretty common with that model. Only way to fix it is to remove the laser assembly from the printer, disassemble the laser and clean every piece of glass inside it. It's very important to keep those absolutely clean of loose toner, otherwise it gets sucked into the laser and coats the mirrors and lenses.
