LJ4050 dumping toner & prints blank pages

This one is very strange. This LJ4050tn is dumping toner down the inside front of the printer. There is absolutley NO toner on the transfer roller or anywhere near it. All the toner is poring down and covering the roller and all the front (including half of the paper) of tray two. I tried two different new HP toner cartridges after I cleaned the printer but they do the same thing. What's wierd is that absolutley no toner is being deposited on the transfer roller so the printer puts out blank pages. Even when I tried to do an engine test, I got the same result. And when I turned the printer off while it was in the middle of printing, and removed the toner cartridge there is no toner on the charged surface of the cartridge. Maybe the high voltage power supply, or the laser?

What's on the drum?

Are these OEM toners or remands? You may have a batch of toners that have been dropped.

The toner cartridge works fine in another printer. When I shut the printer off in the middle of a font printout test and removed the toner cartridge, there was not any toner on the drum. That's why I was thinking high voltage or laser problems...

Turns out that it was the laser.

This problem can not have been caused by the Laser.
