    Default Epson SX600FW USB Problems

    Hey everyone,

So I got a nice new Epson SX600FW 3-in-1 printer for whilst im at university, and so far its (mostly) just been a paperweight.

Unboxed it, set it up and installed it as per the instructions. It was working fine...until I turned the printer off and back on again. Now whenever I turn it on or plug it in, i always get the "USB Device Not Recognized" pop up in Vista. The only way I can get round is this by uninstalling all the associated software/drivers, cleaning the registry of any Epson keys and reinstalling the drivers. This only works as long as the printer/laptop doesn't get turned off however, and having to reinstall the drivers everytime an essay is due is a bit of headache!

I've got the latest drivers, tried all the USB ports, tried a different USB cable and it happens every time. Anyone have any ideas on the problem?

    Thanks.

Take it back and have the place where you purchased it install it on one of their computers. And test it.

If you can't do that exchange it for another one
    .

Can you try it on another PC?
