    Default Networking HP 4050?

    I have an HP 4000 that was upgraded by installation of a new control board to be a 4050. I am now using it with its parallel input, but would like to network it on my small office XP lan.

    Can someone tell me what networking card I need to add to do that?

    You can connect the printer in one of two ways: First connect the printer to one of your computers and then share the printer. Second obtain a Jet Direct card, let it get a DHCP address or enter a static IP.
