    Default 2200d PRINTER INSTALL INFO.

    I have windows 98 and i can't seem to be able to add the printer to use it. It asks for a install disc.

    Which install disks is it asking for? W98 or the printers?


    If its the printers, then just download the lastest driver for W98 from HP's website:

    The site also has alot of information about this printer and interaction with W98.

    Double click on the file you just downloaded. If it wants to install, then let it... if it wants to decompress then let it in a folder of your choosing. Then during the Add Printer process, tell the wizard where the files are that decompressed.
