Default HP Laserjet 1018 jam on output

    Hi all,
triyng to repair an HP Laserjet 1018 printer.
The issue is a constant jam on output, the paper exit the fuser and stops just 3 mm before the sheet is released by the fuser.
Changed paper input sensor flag and paoer output sensor flag with no luck.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Not familiar with that one. Sometimes the paper size stop in the paper tray is not set correctly for the paper being used. If the pad of paper is
sitting a little too far back in the tray it can throw off the timing just enough to cause a false jam. Issues with rubber pickup rollers and feed
rollers getting to old and slick usually cause intermittent false jams. On a couple of occasions it was the toner cartridge. Rebuilt cartridges
sometimes are not quite right and the motor cannot turn the cartridge fast enough and that can cause false jams. Do not go out and
buy a new cartridge, see if you can find or borrow an old one and try it. This applies only to rebuilt cartridges, never saw it on an HP
cartridge. If you have access to a sister machine try swapping the fuser. If all else fails google the failure and see what pops up!

Not an issue with paper size because it jams also on internal test print.
Not an issue with the toner cartridge because it works well on an hp 1022.
I try now to investigate on pickup roller and separation pad.

Here we are toner remanufacturer, so i know all the issue with a faulty toner cartridge.
Thank you so much for the quick reply.
