    Default HP printers and Labels

Now that the heat is turned on here in Minnesota our printers that print labels are jamming continuously. Can anyone recommend a label that works relatively well in low humidity situations, we have zero problems until fall and throughout winter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you give us a little more information? What printer are you using, what kind of labels, are you printing from tray one or tray two, where do the jams occur? Is the jamming constant or intermittent? How many pages has this printer printed? Is this the only printer you have or do all the printers do this?

Avery brand labels are usually the best quality, they will say "LaserJet approved" on the box if they're intended for a laser printer versus Inkjet printer.

Fuser and roller quality can also make a difference, there are plenty of cheap aftermarket parts & fusers that don't work well on labels. Give us a call @ PrinterTechs 608-831-2396 if you have specific questions; we regularly test our products on various label types to make sure paper feeds well.
