Default HP 4250 makes a 'loud tweeting" sound when printing

Hi have a client with a HP 4250 that is apparently making a loud 'tweeting' sound when printing. have asked them to swap the toner with the toner in another hp4250 to see if it resolves the issue. They have said that they have gone through several toners and the noise is still there. Any clues?

It could be the swingplate gear. That plastic gear, and particularly aftermarket plastic replacements, can be prone to squeaking as they wear. We sell a brass replacement gear with a bearing that won't squeak and will last longer (tested out to a million pages with no problems).

I attended and swapped the fuser with one on another working hp 4250 - noise went away on both machines. Will replace the original fuser and swingplate gear for a permanent fix.

    thanks everyone
