    Default What laser printer should I get for architecture?

    Hey, I'm an architecture student I need a color laser and photocopier for an A3 format (11x17). I don't mind paying 4000 or less but I can't spend 11000. What printer is the best value?

    I don't believe HP sells a color multi-function printer that can print 11"x17"...

    The industry standards for printing 11x17 in monochrome would be the LaserJet 5000 printer and the LaserJet 5100.

    A good color printer would be the Color LaserJet 5500 series.

    You might want to get a printer and a copier separate -- as I doubt you'll find a reliable multi-function.
