Default Need Recommendations on Home Printer/Scanner

Hi guys, been having hard time getting some recommendations on a home printer/scanner.

I'm looking for a affordable but good Laser Printer that comes with Scanning, faxing etc functions.

I plan to put the printer on a network, I have both wired and wireless connections, dunno if it's common for a printer with wireless ability.

Also I heard there are some printers that comes with refillable inks, where you just purchase the bottle of ink and fill the catridges in, does these printer exist commercially?

Lastly regarding the software installation, i hope it comes with easy installation and minimum software required, as like some makers they inisist you on installing their softwares, i know it might not be possible for a printer/scanner but the less installation the less problems. Especially when the printer will be used by few PC.

Laser printers do not come with refillable inks.
Are you looking for a laser printer all-in-one or an office jet?

Most printer come with easy to install drivers. You put in a CD and follow the directions.

I'm looking for a decent Laser printer all in one.

But also interested in knowing which type of printer and models offer refillable inks, whether or not it is laser or other type. Also would like to know whether it affects the print quality when using refillables.

    All right, color or mono.
What are you gonna use it for?
    What kind of workload?

I would prefer it to be color.

Also, for printing pictures and photos, which type of Printer is the best?

And which type of printer offers refillable inks?

Can you expand on which inkjet's you're comparing this to?

I've a Canon MP830 that would beg to differ on high quality and photo images... My HP L7680 on the other hand would not... but then it is fast so I forgive it...

Answering to your question I would recommend you to visit TestFreaks, choose Multi Functional Printers category and sort models by score:
    http://www.testfreaks.com/multi-func...rs/?sort=score
Such way you'll see which MFPs have the best ratings, based on expert and user reviews from all over the world.
I think this is the most objective way to choose good home printer/scanner
