question. can a hp lj2200d (networked w/a jetdirect card) be plugged into a 400va ups along w/a pc, monitor and ink jet printer?
or is it wise to plug in a laser jet printer into a 400va ups?

It isn't recommended to connect any laserjet into a UPS. There is generally a power surge when laserjets are turned on and the fuser warms up, esp. with older laserjets. Some older laserjets will briefly dim the lights in a room.
