HP Laserjet M2727nf Serial number and Page count problem

Good Afternoon!

I've recently been playing with resetting the page count on an HP LJ M2727 printer. I can send the file and it does change the count to whatever I would like, but then if you try to print something or print out another usage page the count immediately goes to zero...any ideas???

The commands I'm sending are as follows:

@PJL SET SERVICEMODE=HPBOISEID
@PJL DMINFO ASCIIHEX="04000401010109080300dada"
@PJL DMINFO ASCIIHEX="040005010401020608020319"
@PJL SET SERVICEMODE=EXIT
