A 4050 in use for about 4 1/2 years printing about 700-1000 pages daily started to lock up. To clear it, pause the printer on the server, restart the print spooler service on the server, resume printing. At that point, the printer would then print a error page with the following:
Error: timeout Offending Command: timeout
Stack: 5735 4597
We switched it with a sister known good working but in a location that only sees about 250-400 pages per day and have not had any problems since.
Both printers are connected to the same Hawking 3 port Print Server and configured on a Windows 2003 server.
No error codes were displayed on the printer.
Is this printer just getting old or is this some thing that can be fixed?
