I can't figure out how to get my Laserjet 4000(n) HPC4120A out of "AppleTalk" mode and "DHCP." I want to assign it a static IP address from our Ethernet network, and try to use either IPprinting or Bonjour to connect to the printer.
The old Appletalk setting is not stable and the printer often disapears from the "Local Zone."

I can't find any documentation or software to get in and change the settings - or through any pathway of the buttons. I can only print the configuration page to see the current settings.

Anyone else have this issue or advice?
Is what I want to do even possible?

Thanks

Under the config network menu, config TCP/IP, make sure bootP=No. If it = yes it will seek a dhcp server, if it's no then you can enter the IP and mask.
