Color Laser 8550N "Processing Job"

Have Color Laser 8550N that we have to power cycle several times every day due to hanging on "Processing Job". Have replaced fuser, formatter, upgraded firmware, etc... The parts for this printer are far too expensive to keep replacing like this. Does anyone have a clue as to why this printer acts this way? Any help much appreciated!

Do you use a jetdirect card? I have found that large jobs send it into a snit, and if it is a 600n, replace it. Are test prints OK? If so, the NIC's the culprit.
