LJ 8150N grinding/snagging noise tray 4 (5000 sheet bin)

Hello all,

wondering if anyone can help, I have around 40 Laserjet 8150s in my office and one of them which has a 2000 sheet tray (tray4) makes an odd sort of grinding / snagging / vibrating noise when picking up paper from this tray. I have had a look and cannot see anything obvious, and the HP website is a useful as a chocolate tea pot. :(

wondering if anyone has come across this before or can offer any advice?

Hi All,

turned out to be the 2000 bin pickup assembly was a bit deaded. replaced it and it sounds alot better now.
