Hi,
I have a problem. Want to install in my old HP LJ IID printer an ethernet card to connect to the home netwrok. Card is a Troy XJet III T. Bought it second hand including cd with drivers and software. Card fits in the printer, printer recognizes the card (I can select the new card in the menu). When I connect the card to the network switch, the switch also sees the card (ligt on the switch is on). I installed the software Xadmin32 from Troy. But the software will not see the card. The same for the HP Jet Administrator: it will not detect the card. Even in "manual" mode, where I have to enter the data by hand (MAC adress), the software reports that the card is not there..
any suggestions?
