oki b4350 error message

i have an oki b4350 laser printer. when powered up nothing happens, just displays 'error 002' message and ready led flashes.
any ideas anyone?

Manual states Error 002 is a DSI Exception error. I have not run into that error before.

this is a new printer to me, have you any idea how i can clear this message.
What does DSI exception error mean and what parts, if any, require replacing.
