HP 4050 never finishes processing jobs

I have an Hp 4050tn that never finishes processing jobs. The processing light comes on but the job never prints. It also had a 55.a error recently. Are these issues related?

The issues could certainly be related.
55 is an internal communications error, could be bad memory or a bad formatter or even engine controller.
Does it print a test page?

Yeh that is what the HP documention said when I chekced it. We had ther board repalced yesterday.Thanks for the reply.
