Print quality problem. Colors look good, but black will ocassionally print "blurry", for lack of a better word. It looks like the paper was moving when it shouldn't have been, but the line of printed characters doesn't run up or down as it would if the paper had moved. This printer has just under 46,000 pages on it, and will do this once in about every 40 pages, or so. Comes and goes.

Are you using recycled cartridges?
If so it may be universal ink that was used and this can be a problem with newer inkjets because of the speeds and resolution, I recommend OEM only.
If they are both OEM inks then it could be your black print head is failing,
not enough jets are firing to fill the dpi speed needed, if your printer did not cost much then it is time for a new one, if it was pricey then a cleaning might help clogged print heads.
