Hp 1150

I have a HP 1150 laserjet that is mangling paper. From a parts diagram I am assuming I need a new transfer roller. Mine has a piece of the covering missing in the middle. Is this all I need and how easy is this to install?

sounds like you may need a tech if you are not one.
we call this rebuilding a fuser.
it is more involved than just removing the roller and replacing the sleeve.
sensors are involved and wires and this could be covering up other issues with the fuser itself.
I myself would look into upgrading to a newer printer.
If the fuser is gone on this one it's around the same price to repair as to buying a newer HP.
