My 2600N does not print envelopes but instead prints the information on a piece of paper that is ejected with the envelope. HP support is not being helpful asking questions like is the printer turned on, I guess if it is turned of it prints from the wrong tray. I have followed the instructions exactly several times. Does anyone know how to get the printer to work with envelopes?
Thanks,
Lance

What applications are you printing from? Are the envelopes within the paper spec?
Load a single envelope into Tray 1 or up to ten envelopes in Tray 2.
● Do not load more than ten envelopes into Tray 2.
● The weight of the envelope paper should not exceed 90 g/m2 (24 lb).
● Make sure that envelopes are not damaged and are not stuck together.
● Never use envelopes that have clasps, snaps, windows, coated linings, self-stick
adhesives, or other synthetic material

The program is Microsoft Word and the envelopes are standard. In fact it is the same combination that worked with the last HP printer.
