5p auto delete from print queue (win 2000)

When I try to print to the laserjet 5p, the job goes to the queue and I can see it get automatically deleted without any error messages. I recently downloaded a new driver HP said was required. Help?

Have you other 5p's there? your job may have gone to another printer.
Your network administrator should check the print server for any problems.
