Hello,
Today I spent 6 hours configuring the LaserJet 5850. I can print using USB, but I would prefer having as a network printer so that my laptop can print to it besides my workstation.
I plug the ethernet to the router. I was able to assign an IP and I know the workstation communicates to the printer because I was able to connect to the EWS through my browser. I see all the network setting.
Once I installed the driver, I tried to print the test page. It sounds like it is trying to print and I saw the print job on the queue, the power on/off switch was blinking, and the paper was feeding into the printer. But then, the print job stops and it eventually gave me the document failed to print error.
I reinstalled the driver several times but still have no luck.
If you have similar problems before and have the solution, please share.
