I have a R800 printer. I just received a message that the parts are at the end of their service life, but i have not had the printer that long. I know that there is a internal counter that when you hit 150 cleaning cycles the printer shuts down just like the R300 series printers. The R300 series has a reset technique to it when you hold the power, maintance and ink button for 10 seconds it resets or simething like that. I just wanted to know if you know of a reset method for this printer without having to take it in to Epson or a epson dealer.:(

Check out this utility at http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml. Found it on www.fixyourownprinter.com and searched for R800. Hope this helps you out!

Thanks for opening a thread. I also share the same problem. Now, my printers fine. I can't afford to live a week without it. Good gracious! :)
