i am a new member to this forum... hope that this forum help me how to know my printer... im using HP CLJ 3500... i have this printer a year and 2 months... recently, i encountered this problem. "50.1 Fuser Error" I already followed the instruction of the printer but still it doesn't work...

if any one of you can help me to my problem, i really apreciate it...

btw, what is the use of FUSER?

Additional question,

How can you determined if the FUSER was already damaged or dead?

If you got a 50.1 error and you couldn't reset it by turning it off for a while, then your fuser(which melts the toner image into your page, by the way) is probably toast. You can usually get a new fuser and install it yourself but they only come as a complete unit and they are a little pricey. Good luck.
