I did a search for a particular issue that I was having, but didn't see the resolution here. I thought I'd post it in case someone else was having the issue.
I have a Netware 5.1 network with approx 1200 users connected to it. All printer drivers are pushed down via NDPS. Users with Windows XP in one department have their main printer set up as an HP Laserjet 4250. If the users tried to print multiple copies of a multiple page document with the option to collate selected, it would never collate. The coppes would come out as (A,A,A - B,B,B - C,C,C) never as (A,B,C - A,B,C - A,B,C). If the users had Windows 98, the problem never occurred.
The resoltion suggested was to roll the drivers back to a 4200 driver. This didn't work either. The actual resolution was to go to the Properties of the printer, select the Device Settings tab, scroll down to the Mopier Mode setting and enable it as it was disabled. I did get a message that stated there were conflicts, but chose the option to resolve all conflicts for me.
I tested the printing after setting this and it worked correctly. I had to make this change on all users in the department who were running Windows XP.
They were all able to print correctly after making the change.
Thought that anybody having the same issue might like to know this.
