Hi, I've got a serious problem with a HP Color LJ 4600.
When printing an image the colors are all mixed up. Same problem with the demo page from the printer (so not a driver issue).

Some black parts of the photo have another color (depending on what color it has the most in the image, i think). On the second page there're 2 big black horizontal bars which are normally not there and the men has normally a black tie and phone and black hair.

I use the latest firmware version, the configuration is good and there's a new black toner.
Thanks alot!

I looked at the example, and it could be the H\V assy. Is the toner HP?
Print solid fills to see where the defects occur. It could just be bad toners.
Check the ETB for any wear spots, and\or scratches. Do engine test, small hole on left side at the rear. If it is ok, then the trouble is in image formation.
Notice if there are wear spots on the toners.Mark the edge of each and do a print test. Look at them to see if they moved at all. Have you run a calibration recently? The DC controller may very well be the real culprit.
