Reset Maintenance Count on Laserjet 5000

Hello,

Just recently rebuilt the fuser and replaced all pickup rollers on our Laser 5000. I want to reset the maintenance count on the printer but I am unable too. I followed the directions on entering service mode and that didnt work. I can reset page count, but that will reset total page count as well as the maintenance count. I have no other options in the service menu to reset just the maint page count.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Turn power off.
Hold down the left side of the 'Item' and 'value' keys and turn the printer on.
When you see 'reset maintenance count' in the screen release the keys.

Hmmm, I just realized that was the quick method that I tried to do earlier but it wasnt working, so I tried the service mode method. However, the quick reset method did the trick. Thanks for the help and for a great website! :)
