LJ 1100 envelope feed issue

Here's the deal......I have a LJ 1100 that is having problems picking up envelopes.
I recently replaced the pickup roller and the separation pads and it still jams on occasion.Sometimes with one envelope and sometimes with multiple ones but not always.
They are stopping right before the transfer roller and I have tried a couple differant tonercartridges with the same result.

Any ideas?:confused:

This is a bad printer to be running envelopes through. Are the envelopes within the paper specifications for this printer?
