Laser jet5 paper jam

hi! ther can someone help me about this printer. The unit is a Lj 5 our company had this printer a long time ago. Paper jam is a usual problem of the unit but removing the jammed paper and resetting the unit will do the trik but this week the trouble comes prequently to the point that we could not print anymore. the trouble: when the paper enters the fuser unit it is stuck there followed by a paper jam display. ty

Sounds like the fuser needs repair or replacing.
If the paper comes out and looks like an accordian this would be the main problem.
Could only be a sleeve to replace or the whole unit depends on the wear and tear of the fuser.

Either the fuser gears or the gears on the drum drive assembly are broken, perhaps both.
Accordians aren't caused by the fuser but by the delivery assembly.
