Our s300 began printing black streaky and faint on every 4th or 5th line of print. I tried replacement cartridges, nozzle cleaning, etc and finally purchase a new printhead. However, the new printhead prints absolutely nothing! It is as if the printer does not recognize the new printhead. If I replace the old printhead, it prints (though not well). Any ideas regarding how to reset this printer and get it to recognize the new printhead would be greatly appreciated. Right now I am leaning toward HP printers due to the printhead on each cartridge. I really don't like to buy a new printer every couple of years. Thanks in advance.
