I posted earlier regarding a 5si jamming 1 out of every 20-25 pages when only printing double sided. When duplexor is out or I print single sided I do not get jams. The diverter on the left side door has two black tabs (one in each corner), well the one tab is busted off ,making this door not a 100% tight close. I have a spare to replace this. Every time it would jam I would open the left side door and the paper would be sticking out of the duplexor about 3" every time making me think this is all in the diverter. If I open and close the bottom right door, it clears itself. Do you still think this is duplexor issues as well?

These units have a hidden set of rollers besides the main p\u roller. I havnt been able to get these, as it is a pain to do it. There is an issue with timing regarding the duplexer and the fuser. If fuser is replaced it may or may not be in synch with the duplexer. Since I have plenty of each, I just mix 'n' match them until it's right! There could be other issues with your 5si , such as worn rollers, paper dust in sensors, etc. Tear it down and clean! Especially the registration. Remove the PIU and blow it out too.

Print an event log & find out what the exact 13.x error message is for the duplexer jams, it will help a lot in identifying the cause. Trying to find replacement parts for a printer this old may be difficult if you need a new duplexer or something.
