Here's another HP 4100n problem:

This is networked. Users send print jobs and the printer starts flashing the "Processing Job" message in the Control Panel on the printer, but the job never prints. If I shut the printer off and turn it back on, the printer will spit out the job, but as soon as it is finished printing that job, if someone sends another job to it it goes right back to the "Processing Job" message and won't print again...

Any ideas?

Try putting the Jet Direct in the other EIO slot.
Maybe you have a bad Jet Direct.

With problems like this you need to narrow down whether it is a data problem or a hardware problem with the printer. If it's hardware you are looking at either the jetdirect, memory, firmware ROM, or fomatter. If it's bad data, try re-installing the driver and try printing with a parallel cable.
