5500 DTN Error

The display panel on the 5500 DTN is showing: EIO Disk 1 not functional

Can someone explain to me what the error msg means, trouble-shooting options, etc.? TIA Marshall

EIO DISK [x] NOT FUNCTIONAL EIO disk is not working correctly 1. Reseat the EIO disk in slot [X]. 2. Remove and replace the EIO disk in slot [X].

I googled your error message and found the solution at printertechs.com! You might want to call them and see if you need any replacement parts. Nice guys work there! Jeff was very helpful.
