Has anyone seen this? we have a laserjet 4200TN that likes to jam in the fuser area, it seems to do this on large jobs, it looks like the fuser is loose but I cannot seem to pin this one down, should I replace the fuser and cross my fingers or is there a fix for this one that does not require a maint kit or fuser. TIA

You mentioned that it looks like the fuser is loose. Are the blue tabs locked into place? The printer can run with the fuser not completely seated, this isn't good for the fuser since the sleeve tends to get pulled towards one end and can rip. Also check to see if the blue tabs are broken.

I've seen this happen a few times, the blue tab (usually the left one) does break off sometimes.

Yeah it's 99% of the time the small blue locking tabs that snap off. The fuser will be loose on one side.
