Heya :)
Anyone in here ever ever tried to install a Xerox or other printer which has a lan card ?
I've bought a Xerox Phaser 3420 printer and put it in our LAN. It has certain IP, it responds to ping and windows XP workstations can really print on it.
Now, i've got the following problemo` : i've got win95 and win98 operating systems which cannot print to IP generally. I tried some softwares and i maganed to install it on win95/98 PC's but CANNOT CAPTURE THE PRINTER PORT ( my xerox printer port) i need to do this in order to be able to print from under DOS.
Any ideeas oon how this can be solved?
