mac g3 beige cant identify laserjet 2100

I have two HP laserjet 2100's(identical printers) and the one shows up on the chooser on my mac g3 and prints, and the other does not. I have hooked the one that is not working to a pc and printing is no problem. I have reinstalled the driver and I am not hooked up to a network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need postscript in the printer to print from a Mac. Print a configuration page to see if it is installed.
