Our 5500 is creating a screeching sound at random like something is cycling. It is coming from the middle of the printer. Any ideas of what to look for?

It sounds like a high speed drill and last for about 2 seconds and then does it again in a minute or so.

Found the problem. the hard drive is bad. All 3 of our EIO hard drives went bad in a week. If you have a 5500 with external HD get it looked at before it goes off warranty. There is such a problem that mine was on backorder for over a month.
