Xerox Phaser 7300

Im having a promblem with my Phaser 7300 it said that my mag toner was out and I replaced it and now its making a grinding noise when I close the lid. the cartridge is fully seated and I dont know if it was grinding before i replaced the toner. Any help would be useful.

on the 7300 alot of times the hinge will break on the top cover usually the one in the back, Also if you are still getting the out of toner message, check the toner sensor on the top cover for that toner. usually they will break or get stuck and not move freely. Let me know if you need any more help. I am certified on this beast, also have the service manual if you need me to look up any thing.
