Hi:

I have a LaserJet 5si, and the Mac Printer Utility from HP.

I also can telnet into this printer's JetDirect card.

What I want to do:

I want to send the command to print various test pages via
PCL/PJL; The Printer utility has a dialog box you can fill in with
the commands.

This page describes the PJL commands:
http://www.math.cas.cz/~jarnik/utl/HP/PJL%20Commands.html

Scroll down towards the bottom for the test page.

The HP utility command window defaults to:
@PJL DEFAULT

I tried sending:
@PJL SET TESTPAGE=PSCONFIGPAGE
<ctrl-p esc>

but the printer does nothing

Thanks
Foob

It's broken!

The LCDs are burned out or something,
just dots show up.

The thing is, i'm trying to figure out how the escape code
works.

The Mac printer utility can auto-insert it, but i'm not sure
if you

escape
@JPL code
escape

to get something to work. It seems to be accepting my
test page choice, but not printing it.
