HP 4350 has 13.20 Jam in tray 2 error, no jam anywhere in machine. Removed registration, fuser, tray 1, checked thoroughly, found nothing. Could this be PS102 at the registration or PS108 at the fuser?

Is this error at start-up? Or while printing? If at start-up, a sticky exit flag, or even a solonoid flapper could be it.If while printing, the pick-up assy. sensor\flag may be broken or not set in right.

How does this happen? Doesn't the flag swing freely as it hangs upside down? I'm fairly new at this so please be patient. I also have this same problem as the orginial post. What does it take to replace the tray 2 sensor?

The most common cause of false jams is worn feed rollers. If you describe the scenario where it jams, you can get more accurate info as to the possible causes by the techs and others who post here(i.e.it says its jammed when I send a print job,but theres no paper jammed).
