I've got a Lexmark x2230. Over the summer, it was packed up and stored in who knows what position. Now, an warning message comes up every time I try to print, I every program, which tells me that the "Cover is open" (with the aid of a helpful diagram, showing, you guessed it, and open cover). I assure you that the cover is firmly closed, but I have not been able to assure my computer of that fact.
On another forum (featuring a Lexmark-specific thread) I learned that this warning may be the product of a stuck sensor. If this is the case, how do I repair the sensor? If this is not the case, then what is the case?
