Phantom paper jam

Hi all, LJ5m, during printing (every page), machine pauses for 2secs, paper jam error msg. appears on LCD, msg dissapears,then carries on printing. Fault occurs from both input trays. :confused:

This is very odd indeed.
How far does the paper go into the printer before the message comes?
There might be some detection flag that is sticking, a good clean might solve this problem.

This could be a combination of a worn fuser, and worn rollers. Timing may be off and as Brian said, a sensor lever may be sticking.
