I have a LaserJet 4 Plus, It is Squeaking/Squealling when it initializes after powerup. It is also making these noises when the paper is exiting the printer, making me think this was the exit assembly. I have replaced the exit assembly and no luck, any suggestions?

1st Have you tried to replace the toner Cartridge?
Forgive me if that is insulting, but i'll get knee deep in printer parts sometimes when the only thing wrong is a squeeky cartridge
2nd. If you already replaced the exit assembly the next thing to check would be the Fusing/fixing assemby. It is located behind the back door at the bottom and is easily removed by taking out 2 screws. Sometimes as they age they begin to squeek.
Word of advise.. do not spray a squeeking fuser with any petroleum based flammable spray such as WD-40. Any teflon based spray could do the trick.

Thanks for your help, it was the fuser. I didn't think to check that for a squeaky printer. Thanks again.
