On the main website, the fix listed for horizontal black lines lists these fixes below:

must the printer be completely dis assembled to accomplish this?


1. See the “Repetitive defect ruler” 2. Reseat connectors on the laser scanner and engine controller board. 3. Replace the laser/scanner assembly followed by the engine controller board, if necessary

second question, is weather or not this qualifies for the horizontal black line repetitive defect, since it does not go completely across the page

... more info on defect... it seems that it is only 'repetitive' once per page, only one mark, about 3 1/4 down from top of page, about inch-inch 1/4 from right edge, about an inch long, very thin. just needs cleaning maybe?
we installed a remanufactured fuser, but did not replace any rollers anywhere.

Here's a dumb question did you change the toner cartridge
Sounds like the doctor blade has lifted or a felt is ungluded
Need more info
